A collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy

Taylor Chodash, NYC Therapist for Women

A woman with blonde wavy hair smiling while sitting at a wooden table in a restaurant. She is wearing a light-colored patterned top. On the table, there is a laptop, a cup of coffee, and sunglasses. In the background, there are large windows with daylight streaming in, and other diners visible.

I came to this work because I know what it's like to be in the middle of something hard and not have the right words for it yet.

I specialize in working with women navigating relationships. The romantic ones, the family dynamics, the friendships that quietly get complicated. I'm drawn to this work in part because I've lived close to it. That personal understanding shapes how I show up in sessions.

My approach is direct but warm. I'm not here to just reflect your feelings back at you. I want to actually help you understand the patterns underneath them and build something different.
